Background...
visual art has long been a life
long endeavour
I've always known as if it has been imprinted
within my DNA, which may well be the case
based on my family upbringing.
Using whatever tools available to create what
I wanted with pens and pencils like geometric
patterns, helicopters and cars to paint brushed
landscapes I did during the time at school was
Growing up in the time of 8 Bit computers like the
Sinclair ZX81, Atari 800 XL, the Atari Mega ST to
the Amiga and Playstation in the 1990's, and using
them to bring sound and visions of ideas I had to life
has brought joy and unexpected magical experiences
in opening doors, which might never have happened
if I didn't have the passion and drive to pursue these arts...
From performing in a band on stage for TV, working in film
production and scoring of music for film to be shown
at the Cinema, to working in the music industry at the
front of house at Stadium events and that of large music
Festivals, I've had the fortune to do.
in the field of Interactive Multimedia, building graphical
interfaces and having a guilty pleasure of designing
and redesigning GUI's so they serve my needs and
tastes in a practical sense has brought many new
challenges in this field which have grown to this day.
From designing in Photoshop to learning the scripting
requirements in which to change graphical interfaces as
required has been very interesting if a somewhat time
-consuming process, but ultimately one that pays off.
Bringing all the skills I've learned from composing music
to video editing, and integrating all the things I've created
into one, is something that I don't really appreciate till
I've actually reached the goals I've set myself...but the
drive to raise to the next level is always there...utilising
all the tools and knowledge I gained over 30+ years,
including that of 3D modelling software which I first
started exploring back in the early 1990's with Real 3D
on the Amiga...
When there's something to learn, you never know what's round the corner...
